160 METERS : A STORY ABOUT ROCK IN BIZKAIA

Director : A.FLERRO & J.GORORDO | FULL HD | Duration : 66′ | VIETNAM | 2013

160 meters : A Story About Rock in Bizkaia introduces the close link between Rock music and the urban transformations that took place on both banks of Bilbao’ estuary from the late 80s on.
160 meters is the distance between both banks of the Nervion River, mute witness of Bilbao’s sociological and economical turmoils in the 80s and the 90s. The city wouldn’t be the same today without this very cultural effervescence and bands as eskorbuto, Parabellum, El Inquilino Comunista, Los Clavos, etc.
