Former French and then British colony, the island of Dominica is an ecological jewel with many natural resources which has preserved not only a wild nature, but also a population with pre-Columbian origins.

In 2011, a hiking trail, the waitukubuli trail, was opened to cross the island from one side to the other; A kind of “GR 20” of the Caribbean.
