In the High Moroccan Atlas and at the feet of the M’goun and Djebel Rhat, a few thousands of inhabitants, farmers and shepherds at the same time, live in about thirty villages spread in the high valley. They live a simple life, closely linked to the natural cycle. These high valleys, which remained out of modern life a long time, are now eager to open themselves to the world.
Synonyms of an easier life, the village people fought to obtain a school, a community clinic, roads and electricity. Yet, as we can guess, these changes are not without upheavals.
