From India to Bali through Nepal and the historic Indochina, Patrick Kersalé is following the Hinduist and Buddhist expansion. He tracked every living trace of tangible or intangible resurgence from the walls of Angkor, including musical instruments and religious practices for about 15 years.

His research also highlight the shamanistic and animistic beliefs from these regions. He gives us the fruits of his stunning discoveries, including an approach to the musical universe of Khmer city.
